Benedikt Brors
Medical Faculty Heidelberg and Faculty of Biosciences
Heidelberg University
Benedikt Brors uses in his research methods from computer science, statistics and mathematics to study fundamental questions in cancer research based on high-dimensional data from “omics” technologies. In particular, he has pioneered to use computational methods in precision oncology to predict systemic, targeted therapies and immunotherapies for treatment of advanced-stage cancer. His research comprises as well tumor classification by machine learning methods, cancer epigenetics, and interaction of tumor cells with the immune system.
