Amit Kumar

Associate Professor
IIT Guwahati

Amit Kumar completed his Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India in 2002 and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, USA in 2009. His PhD research was focused on studying the transport of small gas molecules in nanoporous materials and dense polymer using molecular simulation techniques such as Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati in April, 2010 where he is presently an associate professor.
