Błażej Miasojedow

Associate professor of Statistics at Warsaw University

Błażej Miasojedow, despite his young age, is a highly recognized specialist in statistics, computational methods, and bioinformatics with a particular focus on Monte Carlo Markov Chain methods and computational methods in proteomics and metabolomics. After completing his Ph.D. in 2011 he did a research internships at the Institut Mines-Télécom ParisTech and CERMICS Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées ParisTech (2011-2012) and he began working as an associate professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw, where, in 2019 he achieved the degree of habilitation. Dr. Miasojedow’s interest in interdisciplinary issues on the borderline of mathematics, biology, medicine, and computational sciences has resulted in many publications in top journals in the field. Błażej has organized and actively participated in numerous seminars, scientific conferences, and workshops, defining the scientific programs of many of them.
